South/Weston Region Swimming Carnival Thursday 25^th March
at the Stromlo Leisure Centre, Corner of Uriarra Road and Dave McInnes Rd, Stromlo.

A special congratulations to the following students who have been selected to represent our school at this carnival: Ava T, Zoe T, Lucy D, Stella H, Lucy Mc, Josie A, Greta B, Maya W, Abigail H, Lucy A, Elke S, Luqman O, William A, Lucas S, Rory M, Cooper L, Maximo A and Marly C. We wish you all the best if you have chosen to compete in your races next Thursday.

Thank you to all of the families who have gotten these notes back to me. I am submitting the list of students and parents/spectators attending on the day to the regional carnival organisers this afternoon (Wednesday 17^th March.)

Please note that any parent/spectator; will not be allowed on the officials side of the pool (glassed wall side), is not allowed to be accompanied by any other family members and must line up and get their name checked off the list upon entry to the pool. Unfortunately, if your name is not on the list you will not be allowed to enter the pool.

Swimming Carnival 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place Ribbon Assemblies

All 8-10 years 50, 100 and 200m ribbons will be handed out at our morning assembly next Monday 29^th March. The Junior Age Champions will also be announced at this time.

All 11-12 years 50, 100 and 200m ribbons will be handed out at our morning assembly next Wednesday 31^st March. The 11 years and Senior Age Champions will also be announced at this time.

Saints Peter and Paul Cross Country Carnival Friday 23^rd April (Term Two, Week 1)
at Eddison Park Woden

This year our Cross Country Carnival is once again being held at Eddison Park. If you would like to help out on the day, and have a current Working with Vulnerable People Card, please watch out for a note and form about this coming soon in the ‘Feed’ section of SZapp. I kindly ask that these assistance forms be submitted no later than Tuesday 20^th April.

As with the swimming carnival, we will also be welcoming any parents/caregivers/other family members as spectators. We kindly ask that you use the Saints Peter and Paul Check in Canberra App QR code on the day, which will be located near the recording table. There will also be a sign in/out sheet if you don’t have a smartphone. Thank you very much in advance for your assistance with this.

South/Weston Region Cross Country Carnival Wednesday 2^nd June
at Stromlo Forest Park, Opperman Avenue, Stromlo.

If your child is selected to represent our school at the regional carnival, they will receive information in relation to this soon after our school carnival. Please be aware that there will be a quick turnaround for bringing these notes back, as nominations need to be submitted to the convening school for organisational purposes.

Cricket Clinics

Cricket clinics are continuing each Monday for the rest of the term in Weeks 8 and 9, so please send your child to school wearing their sports clothes on these days. Thank you so much for your assistance with this.
