ANZAC BISCUITS
Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup plain flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup coconut
125 g butter
2 tbs golden syrup
2 tbs water
1 tsp bicarb soda
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line two trays with baking paper.
Mix oats, flour, brown sugar and coconut in medium bowl.
Place the butter, golden syrup and water in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until melted.
Add the bicarb soda and remove from heat.
Mix dry and wet ingredients together, then shape the mixture into small balls, place on prepared trays and press each down lightly.
Bake biscuits for 10 minutes or until golden.
