- Eftpos and cash facilities will be available. Students will be viewing the books and items available in Week 4 and will bring home a ‘wish list’ (please not
e- you do not have to purchase all or any of the items on the list).
- This is our major fundraiser for our school Library and we would love as many children as possible to participate!
- If you think you would like to volunteer to help out with the Book Fair I will be giving more information in next week’s newsletter. I would be very grateful for any help offered!!
- National Simultaneous storytime is happening on Wednesday 19th May at 11am and all students will participate in the Hall. Scholastic is over the moon to launch Give me some Space! written and illustrated by Philip Bunting for an out of this world event in 2021! The book will be read by an astronaut on board the International Space Station simultaneously with over 1 million kids here on Earth!
- We will be holding some fun competitions to do with NSS in the coming weeks so look out for more details coming soon!

- Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge. It is fantastic to see that some students have already completed their reading challenge! Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 classes are completing their reading challenge as classes and are already half-way through!!
- A huge thank you to the Parents, Carers and Teachers for helping and encouraging students to continue to complete the challenge.
- The challenge finishes in August so there is still plenty of time!!
- The Library @ Lunchtime: The Library will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during lunchtime (after eating time). Please remind your children to come as it is a great place to read, sit, draw or talk quietly.
