Congratulations to the Year 6 team who participated in this event on Monday. Not only did the boys display great sportsmanship and behaviour, but they won the ACT School Futsal Title!
A huge thank you to the parents that coordinated the organisation of this team. The following information was supplied to us from one of them.

Game 3 – Win 11-1 – Macgregor Primary School (Black)
Game 4 – Win 4-1 – Curtin Primary School

Quarter Final Game 6 – 11-0 – Macgregor Primary School (Blue)

This now qualifies the boys to play in the Nationals against the best school teams across Australia later in the year. Stay tuned for more information in relation to this as it becomes available to us.

Saints Peter and Paul Athletics Carnival
A huge thank you to all of the parents and carers and St Edmund’s students who helped out at our carnival last Friday. We would not have been able to run the day without you! A big thank you also goes to all of the staff for everything they did to help make the day a success. Last, but definitely not least, congratulation to all the students for their positive participation in all of the events throughout the day.
Holding this carnival enables us to select students to represent our school at the South/Weston Region Athletics Carnival on Wednesday 18th August. Students who are turning 8 and over this year may be considered for representative selection. Information in relation to students who have qualified for this carnival and parents/spectators attending the regional carnival will be shared with you when it becomes available to us.
Volleyball Clinics
All students in Years 3-6 will be participating in Volleyball clinics every Wednesday for the remainder of this term. One of our coaches is Mikaela Stevens, from the Australian Women’s Volleyball Team. We hope that all the students enjoy learning some new skills.
