LIBRARY NEWS
We have some wonderful new additions to the Library! Argh! All of the classes are getting very excited for our Author and Illustrator visit next week- Dr Cameron Stelzer, The Story Doctor. https://drcameron.com.au/index.html
On Thursday 24 June, we have a special visit from Author and Illustrator Dr Cameron Stelzer. Dr Cameron is visiting Sts Peter and Paul Primary School to run workshops with our K-6 students. K-2 students will enjoy an interactive Big Screen Book Reading and follow-along drawing activity with Cameron. Year 3-6 students will engage in a workshop exploring the combination of words and visual elements. Students and teachers are looking forward to a great day!
In conjunction with the Author Visit, Sts Peter and Paul PS families have a special opportunity to purchase signed and personalised copies of Cameron’s books at special prices. Individual books are $15 each and there are also exclusive book sets available. Students will receive an order form on the day of the workshops. Forms and payment can be returned the following morning, Friday 25 June, to the Office

Do you have Library books at home? We have a lot of overdue Library books that are missing! I would be very grateful if you could have a check at home to see if you have any Library books that need to be returned.

Chief Minister’s Reading Challenge
Congratulations to Year 1 White who are the first class to have sucessfully completed the CMRC! They have read over 30 books in Term 1 & 2 and I thank Miss Wales for her support with helping the students to achieve this goal!. Lots of other classes are close and many individual students from Year 3-6 have also completed the challenge. Check out our Champions bookcase - a celebration of the wonderful readers we have here at Sts Peter and Paul’s! The challenge will continue until Friday 6th August so there is still plenty of time. Students who complete the challenge will receive an award from the Chief Minister’s Office towards the end of Term 3.
Please contact amanda.basedow@cg.catholic.edu.au if you have any questions regarding the Library or borrowing.
