There is still plenty of time to have some winter fun in the snow and there are a few options that are not too far from Canberra. Pop up to Corin Forrest for a day trip or venture a little further for a weekend in the Snowy Mountains, Thredbo or Lake Crackenback, for example. There is something for everyone, with different skill sets catered for.
