NETBALL
Netball
Sts P & P had 5 teams participating in the Winter Netball Competition. The Year 6 All Stars and the Year 5 Pop Stars competed in the Division 2 competition and finished 2nd and 7th respectively. Congratulations to both teams. The Year 4 Pop Stars, Year 3 Bright Stars and Year 2 Twinkle Stars participated in the Net Set GO program. The Year 2 Twinkle Stars also participated in the Twilight Competition with continued enthusiasm. The players are to be congratulated for their attitude and resilience during a challenging year.
Thank you to all for supporting your children playing netball this year. A particular thank you to those who coached – Lisa van der Plaat, Andrew Griffin, Tessa Griffin, Ruby Scanlan, Katrina Baldock and Zoe Abrahams; and to the managers Mardi Scanlan, Laura Buitendam and Steph Wawn. We are only able to enter teams with the support and commitment of volunteer coaches and managers.
Although cut short, it was a great season and we look forward to a new season in 2022.
Netball uniforms
Please return clean netball uniforms with the name of your child attached. A tub for collection will be outside Mrs de Smet's Year 2 classroom. All uniforms must be returned before the end of the school year.
