Welcome to netball for 2022

Kindy and Year 1

Suncorp NetSetGO (NSG) is Netball Australia’s introductory netball skills program for all children aged between 5 – 7-year-old children (Kindy and Year 1). The program teaches netball skills through fun activities and modified netball games. The cost of the program will be advertised on the SCNA website, when available. Registration is via the SCNA website (www.southcanberranetball.org.au) includes a NetSetGO t-shirt and netball!

Years 2 to 6

Matches are played on Saturday mornings during term time at the SCNA courts at Makin Street, Deakin. Registration is via Netball Australia’s new registration platform hosted by PlayHQ! Advice on the registration process will be provided once available. Fees for the season are being finalised and will reflected in the new registration system. It is anticipated that there will be a small increase in fees from last year.

Please email me to note your child’s interest (including their name and year group) by Wednesday 3 March 2022. Registration will be open once it has been determined that there is enough interest to enter a team.

Please note, previous netball experience is not necessary, and all children are welcome to play.

SCNA representative players

If your child is playing representative netball for SCNA, please get in touch as soon as possible to arrange their Sts P & P registration. Girls must be registered with a club to represent SCNA.

Call for coaches

Coaches are needed for teams for years 2, 3, 4 and 6. Previous coaching experience is not necessary. Many thanks to Ruby Scanlan who has offered to coach the Year 5 team.
