THE KITCHEN GARDEN PROGRAM
This week in the kitchen Years 3 and 4 cooked beautifully.
They are learning about the Fruit Group and why it is so important in our diets. In cooking they learnt how to include fruit in two different ways.
They made banana icecream and apple crumble. There were big smiles on their faces.
Years 3 and 4 also had another lesson on sustainability and learnt more about food wastage and how we can prevent it.
The garden has been receiving lots of rain and our garden club crew will be helping us plant in the next few weeks.
