This week in the kitchen garden, the focus was on dairy and caring for our strawberries.

The children learnt about why dairy is good for us and why our body needs the nutrients it provides. They also learnt that if you can’t have cow's milk there are alternatives.

In the garden our crew watered and weeded. They also made sure that our strawberries were coming along just fine. A taste test helped work that one out!
