DAMPER
(preheat oven to 200°C)
INGREDIENTS
3 cups SR flour
Pinch salt
¾ cups water
½ teaspoon mixed herbs (optional)
Extra plain flour, 1/4 cup milk
METHOD
Sift flour and salt into bowl, add herbs, make well in middle.
Add water, mix through, form into large ball, tip onto floured board.
Shape to size, brush with milk.
Cook 30 minutes for large shape or 15 minutes for individual sizes.
