Welcome to 2023 in the kitchen garden news. We hope you had a safe, enjoyable and hopefully a little bit relaxing holiday!!

Our team plans to have lots of exciting things to do this year starting in Term 1.

Years 1 and 2 will be learning about the kicthen and healthy eating. Both years will also be doing their health unit in the classroom so they can bring their newly discovered knowledge to cooking each week.

Kinder will also have a small turn but not until later in Term 1.

Our garden club will be starting up this week – Friday lunch after eating time. We will introduce our new Environment Leaders to their responsibilities and do some cleaning up (the weeds have gone crazy) and planting.

During the holidays I also started my own vegie garden – just spinach and parsley in pots!! They are growing and my family is enjoying the produce. Being part of a productive and edible garden is very rewarding and exciting, so please encourage your child to come along if you think they may be interested.
