SOUTHSIDE DEBATING COMPETITION
Last Wednesday saw the beginning of the Southside Debating Competition, we hosted the first debate with three students and a teacher travelling to us from Holy Family in Gowrie. Three of our year 6 students formed the affirmative side of debate, arguing that ‘Disposable plastic cutlery should be banned at restaurants and fast food outlets‘. It was a close debate and we are very proud to announce that Sts Peter and Paul won the first round. Congratulations Abhishek, Annabelle and Danielle.
This week we’re sending a team to St John Vianney’s in Waramanga and we wish them all the best with their debate.
