The Canberra Choral Society (CCS) invites all interested participants to attend a fun and exciting choral and conducting workshop with American-based Australian choral conductor Dr Heather J. Buchanan.

CCS is proud to be hosting the workshop under the auspices of the Australian National Choral Association (ANCA).

About the workshop

Choristers will be able to develop their warm-up, sight-singing, vocal and ensemble skills.

Conductors will have the opportunity to enhance their skills in a one-on-one masterclass environment with Heather and the chorister participants.

The Duruflé Requiem will be the musical focus for the workshop and participants can hire a copy of the music when booking or bring their own copy.

At the culmination of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a performance of the work. Please invite friends and family to come along at 5pm to enjoy this free performance.
