The school council met on Tuesday 10 September. The meeting began with a presentation from OSH about attendance numbers and ideas they have around contributing to the community. It was a very interesting and informative session and they are very keen to become more involved in our school.  As mentioned previously in this newsletter, the contract is up for reconsideration. We would appreciate any parent input to inform the school’s deliberations.

The council through its social committee has been trying to think of more parent events.  One of the ideas is a trip to Cooma to have lunch and go shopping at Birdsnest. The proposed date is the first Friday (18 October).  We would leave after morning assembly and arrive back in time for pickup.  Please email scc.stpandp@gmail.com or let one of the council members know by Friday 27 September if you are interested. If there are enough people wanting to go we might hire a bus to take us to Cooma and back.
