A WORD FROM YEAR 4

Year 4 camp at Warrumbui

Year 4 camp was exciting because this was the first time Year 4 ever got to go on camp. The activities we did were bushwalking, bush art, frisbee golf, initiatives games, puzzle mania and an obstacle course. Frisbee golf was really fun. We had to throw a frisbee into a bucket and you had to try to get it in a certain amount of throws.

The food we ate at camp was delicious. We had fruit and banana bread for morning tea and fish and chips with salad for lunch and for dinner we had chicken curry. The coaches were very kind to us and we had lots of fun.

I thought the Year 4 camp was amazing and fun. The dorms, the activities and just the fact that you're with friends!

I'm going to start with the dorms. At Warrambui, the dorms were gorgeous. There were five beds, one single bed and four bunk beds. We had four or five people in each dorm, we had at least one of our friends and if you had a good friend in a different dorm, you got to see them a lot in the activities.

Secondly - activities - the activities were undescribably fun! We did bushwalking, art, frisbee golf,  initiatives, free time, movie night, an obstacle course and puzzle mania. My favourite activities were puzzle mania and the obstacle course. but on the movie night I also enjoyed 'A Bug's Life'.

I thought Year 4 camp was amazing! Some of my favourite things were frisbee golf, bush walking, puzzle mania and the obstacle course. The place where we were staying (the Dome) was big and gave us lots of space when we had spare time. We didn't have much spare time because we had so many activities, we only had a few minutes between activities. The place we went to was Warrumbui. There was another school coming just as we were on our last activity, but they were going to the Village.

The food there was amazing and the experience and just being with your friends was great. I think it helped to make stronger friendships with everyone and get to know them better. The dorms were smallish but there was enough space for each of us to have a separate bunk.

We did a bush walk, bush art, initiatives and frisbee golf. We had free time, dinner and then a movie night and watched 'A Bug's Life'. In the morning we had breakfast, free time, an obstacle course and puzzle mania. We then went back to school on a bus.

I think it was great and it will prepare me for Year 5 and Year 6 camp. That's what I thought of camp - amazing! Thank you for reading my report about camping. I recommend going, it was so fun.
