Calm Down: Use ways like deep breathing or counting to stay calm when you’re upset.
Microskill- Place your hands on your belly. When you breathe in, your belly should rise like a balloon, and when you breathe out, your belly should fall. This makes breathing deeper and more calming. You can say, “Take a deep breath, feel your belly fill up, and then let it all out slowly.”
