PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a big year we have had! From renovations, plays, carnivals, concerts and more we have certainly had some exciting times. One only needs to scroll back through our Facebook feed to get a recap and also view the incredible opportunities for learning our students have engaged in this year.

It has been a big year for me both personally and professionally and I am certainly looking forward to the holiday period and spending more time with my family before returning to my role as Assistant Principal next year. I want to thank you, the parents, for your support this year and in particular the members of the community council who have been, and continue to be, great advocates and supporters of the school.

On Monday night we farewelled our graduating class for 2019 with a dinner at the Southern Cross Club in Woden. These students have been fantastic leaders and role models for their peers and I wish them every success as they move onto high school. I spoke at the graduation of the 4 F’s that the students should focus on in their teenage years to ensure their success, these being Family & Friends, Faith and Fun. All are important to ensure you are guided in the right direction during your teenage years. We also saw the end of an era for several families with their youngest graduating after many years of association with the school. I wish these families all the best as they leave this great community.
