SAUSAGE ROLLS
Ingredients
1 carrot, peeled and grated
250g lamb or beef mince
Pinch salt & pepper
1/4c chopped parsley
2 sheets puff pastry
1/4c milk
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees, line trays with baking paper and set aside.
Combine carrot, mince, salt, pepper and parsley in a bowl and mix well.
Slice pastry sheets in half and place in a quarter of the mixture along the long side of the pastry sheet.
Brush edges with water and roll over to seal. Cut the roll into 5 pieces and place onto the prepared tray, 2cm apart
Repeat with remaining mixture and pastry sheets and brush each roll with milk.
Bake sausage rolls for 20 minutes, until golden and crisp.
