LITERACY NEWS
The staff and students at Sts Peter and Paul had a fantastic day yesterday, celebrating Literacy Day. The morning started with buddy reading, creative craft and writing tasks. Lunch time was spent sitting in the sunshine eating lunch with buddies, a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather. After lunch we chose a fun literacy activity to do with another teacher. Some of the activities were drama, poetry, creating book covers, puppet shows, literacy games and many more. In the afternoon we did a craft activity related to one of the Book Week short listed picture books. It was great to see our students and staff enjoying all the literacy activities and so many smiling faces and creative costumes. Well done to all the staff at Sts P&P.
