Welcome to 2021! I hope you all had a lovely break and are excited for a busy year ahead full of good books and wonderful literary adventures!

I am delighted to be the new Teacher Librarian at Sts Peter and Paul Primary. 

Just a few things to get everyone started…

Library lessons have changed this year and are now once a week for 1 hour. Please take note of your child or children’s library days and send them in with a Library Bag and any books to return. 

• I am going to be in the Library Monday- Thursday. Should you have any questions please email me at amanda.basedow@cg.catholic.edu.au

• The Library will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunchtime (after eating time). Please remind your children to come as it is a great place to read, sit, draw or talk quietly. 

• Scholastic book club will be running again this year. The first issue will be sent home with the eldest child by the end of Week 2. Orders close Friday Week 3 19th February. • Please remember that 20% of all sales go to our school Library. I will using the money made to purchase lots of new books for the Library, as well as prizes and awards for events during the year.
